El mate es el fruto de una planta en el cual dentro contiene semillas. En Uruguay es utilizado cuando se corta para tomar una infusión junto con la Yerba mate. Hay de muchísimas formas y tamaños.

Mate is the fruit of a plant in which it contains seeds. In Uruguay it is used when it is cut to drink an infusion together with Yerba mate. They come in many shapes and sizes.
